Q. Can I have FTP access to my site?
A. Yes, all our members have Full ftp access to their sites.

Q. How does FTP access work?
A. First you need an FTP client which you can download free from downloads.com.

Q. How do i set up my FTP client?
A. The hostname will always be "banzaihosting.com"
The username will be the account name you selected.
The password will be the password you selected.
If you don't remember your username and password, check the email that was sent to you when you first signed up.

Q. What does a 503 error mean when I try to ftp?
A. Your FTP program is trying to use passive mode. You need to uncheck the option that says passive mode or PASV mode in your ftp program.

Q. Do you offer commercial grade (premium) hosting?
A. We do, please email us for more details.

Q. Are your servers Unix or NT?
A. All our servers are running the lastest versions of FreeBSD and Apache.

Q. Can I run cgi scripts on my free site?
A. You can't install cgi scripts on the server however there are sites that will host cgi's for you for free so all you need to do is paste some html on your page and you have a working cgi script!

Q. Can I put pay banners on my free site?
A. Yes!

Q. Can I use an AVS on my site?
A. Yes! We welcome the use of AVS systems

Q. Can I have my own domain name?
A. Yes! Please email us for more details.

Q. How do I get more disk space?
A. The easiset way is just to signup for another site.

Reasons we delete sites:

1. CHILD PORN - this includes softcore nude & semi nude pics ('naturism' or whatever) as well as hardcore porn. No exeptions.

2. Copyright material - using unlicensed content.

3. SPAM - sending unsolicited bulk email, usenet messages or innapropriate posts to message boards/chat rooms or posting multiple 'doorway' pages to search engines.

4. Hacking, Harrassing or hate sites.

5. Sites that try to remove or displace our banners, eg Putting code in that removes them, forcing the top banner to the bottom, or having more then 5 lines between the end of your page and the bottom banner, in an attempt to hide the bottom banner. No exeptions.

6. Auto redirect scripts. You must build your site on this server. NO automatic redirecting to a site on another server.
